Privacy policy
This explains what Reunion HQ collects, why, and what we do and do not do with it. The short version: your family's information belongs to your family, we do not sell it, and we do not look at it unless you invite us in.
What we collect
When you buy
- Your name, email address and billing address, through Stripe
- Your family's name and reunion dates, which you give us at checkout so we can set you up
We never receive your card number. Stripe handles that, and we only see the last four digits on a receipt.
When you contact us or request a demo
Your name, family name, email address, the details you type into the form and, only if you choose to give it, your phone number. A phone number is never required.
Inside the app
Whatever your family enters: registrations, names, ages, shirt sizes, phone numbers, email addresses, photographs, messages, dues records, donations and committee notes. This is your family's information. We store it so the app works.
Automatically
Basic technical records needed to run and secure the service — sign-in times, error logs, and the address the app was opened from. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not build profiles of your family members.
What we do with it
- Run the app and keep it secure
- Send sign-in codes and messages you ask us to send
- Answer you when you contact support
- Bill you, and tell you when a renewal is due
We do not sell your information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use your family's content to market to your family members.
Who else touches it
We use a small number of suppliers to run the service, and only for that purpose. They act on our instructions and may not use your information for their own purposes:
- Supabase — the database and sign-in, held in the United States
- Netlify — serves the app itself
- Resend — delivers sign-in and notification emails
- Stripe — payments
- Twilio — text messages, where a family switches them on
- Zoom — our business phone line and the text messages we send to people who contact us
Mobile numbers and text-message consent are never shared. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. The suppliers above only carry messages on our behalf.
Who can see your family's data
Only people invited into your family app, at the level of access the Owner gave them. Family members never receive the committee's information — that rule is enforced by the database, not just hidden on screen.
We can enter your app only if you invite us, and only for as long as you leave that invitation in place.
Text messages (SMS)
Who sends them. Reunion HQ, a product of AppWorld 360. Texts are only sent to people who have agreed to receive them.
How you agree. The phone number field on our contact and demo request form, and on our onboarding form, is optional. If you choose to enter a phone number and submit the form, you consent to receive text messages from Reunion HQ about your request, along with the promo codes, surveys, product updates and event announcements described below. Inside a family app, family members agree to texts from their own family's app.
What we will send.
- Follow-ups to your demo or information request — for example, letting you know we have emailed you an invitation to schedule your app demonstration, and that we will call you or you can call us if it did not arrive
- Scheduling and confirmation of walkthrough and onboarding calls
- Promo codes and special offers from Reunion HQ
- Customer satisfaction surveys
- Updates about new Reunion HQ products and features
- Upcoming Reunion HQ events
- Sign-in codes and account or support updates you asked for
What we will not send.
- Your private or personal information, or your family's information — we never put account details, payment details, registrations or family records in a text
- Marketing on behalf of any other company
- Content about lending, loans or financing, or anything aimed at adults
How often. Message frequency varies — typically 2 to 6 messages a month. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out and help. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts; you will receive one confirmation and nothing further. Reply HELP for help, or contact support@yourappworld.com or (947) 210-2102. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number stays with us. Phone numbers and the consent you give us to text you are never sold, rented or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes, and your consent is never transferred to anyone else.
Children
Families routinely register children — names, ages and shirt sizes — and that is the point of a household registration. That information should only be entered by a parent, guardian or the committee acting with their agreement. We do not market to children and we do not use their information for anything beyond running your reunion.
How long we keep it
For as long as your plan is active, and for 90 days after a term ends without renewal so you can return or export. After that it may be deleted permanently. You can ask us to delete your family's data sooner.
Your choices
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you
- Correct anything that is wrong
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw consent to texts at any time by replying STOP
Write to support@yourappworld.com (947) 210-2102 and we will answer within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit. Access rules are enforced in the database itself, so one family's records cannot be read by another. No system is perfect; if a breach ever affects your information we will tell you.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will email the Owner of each active family app before it takes effect.
